Welcome

The Miles D. Fain Foundation

Our Mission

The Miles D. Fain Foundation honors the life and legacy of Miles Dean Fain by providing technology to graduating high school seniors to prepare them for their journey into adulthood.

Vision Statement

The vision of the Miles D. Fain Foundation is to award graduating seniors of Coppell High School, Miles’ alma mater, with laptops and assist them in preparing for their next steps in life.

“Miles Fain was killed in a motorcycle accident while home on Fall Break from his freshman year at Arizona State University. One of my core memories with Miles was shopping for a laptop.  Miles stated buying that laptop was one of the greatest experiences of his life – and he felt prepared for adulthood.  I want to honor his memory, and remember the excitement he had at that point in his life.”

~ Meredith Fain, Miles’ proud mother and founder of Miles Dean Fain Foundation

Our Story

My name is Meredith Fain, my son Miles is the namesake of this Foundation.

Miles was born on October 30, 2006 and passed to the other side October 12, 2025. He is quite literally the “sun” in my world, my son. He was kind, funny, and made an incredible impression on just about everyone he met.

It is my life’s greatest honor to be his Mother, and every second with him was a gift. To say I loved him doesn’t seem to be big enough. This is not the future I had envisioned with Miles, but I simply cannot imagine my future, and my life, not including him. This is what I have, and I will take any opportunity for a future with Miles.
