A core memory led to the idea for the Miles D. Fain Foundation, as shared by Meredith Fain, Miles’ proud mom…

“Miles and I had a great day the shopping for college – specifically for a laptop. He was very bougie, and we walked into Apple in North Park Mall, bought a laptop, paid cash and walked out. Miles said it was the single greatest shopping experience of his life. 😉

I was so proud as a parent to buy that laptop. I wanted to supply Miles with as many tools to prepare him for the next steps in life. Suffice to say, he used that laptop from that point on for everything. He went out of state for college, and for his freshman classes, he didn’t even need a book – he used the laptop for everything!

I want to help as many parents feel like I did that day, and of course, help as many young people feel like Miles did that day.”
