Our Story
A little about me
My name is Meredith Fain, my son Miles is the namesake of this Foundation.
Miles was born on October 30, 2006 and passed to the other side October 12, 2025. He is quite literally the “sun” in my world, my son. He was kind, funny, and made an incredible impression on just about everyone he met.
It is my life’s greatest honor to be his Mother, and every second with him was a gift. To say I loved him doesn’t seem to be big enough. This is not the future I had envisioned with Miles, but I simply cannot imagine my future, and my life, not including him. This is what I have, and I will take any opportunity for a future with Miles.
A little about Miles
Miles was born and raised to a single Mom (me!) and was the single source of joy in SO many lives.
He played football, basketball, soccer and golf growing up, and participated in the football, track and golf teams for Coppell Middle and High Schools. He worked at the Omni PGA in golf operations when his focus turned to golf and was studying Sports Business at Arizona State University.
He was killed riding his motorcycle with his friends while he was home from his first semester on fall break. He was two weeks shy of his 19th birthday.
